I have the firewall that came with my windows xp. I want a better one. What is a VERY good firewall i can download and use for free that dosen't slow down my computer?

The best way to protext your computer from internet attacks is to get a router with a built-in firewall. Going this route puts your computer completely behind your router's firewall and the firewall itself runs externally from your computer so it does not slow it down at all.

Software firewalls are pretty crappy for the most part, IMO.
